Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A very well appointed traditional cottage. This however means headroom is slightly reduced so tall people like me have to stoop here & there! However this is more than offset by the facilities, cleanliness & tidiness. There was plenty of information about what to do & where to go including previous occupants comments on local pubs, restaurants, places of interest, etc. Sept 2012.
  2. One of the prettiest cottages in Cornwall. So quaint and full of character. Good location to tour all of Cornwall. June 2012.
  3. Very sweet cottage, exactly as described. Easy access to all parts of Cornwall. I don’t think there was a bay we did not explore. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The enclosed garden was a bonus for the dogs. The welcome tea tray wine and flowers were a nice touch. Would highly recommend. Oct 2011.
  4. Apart from a problem with condensation the property was cosy and historically attractive. This was a good location for Holly the Collie as poo bins and a stunning walk (Kennal Vale) were close by. Sept 2011.
  5. We loved this cottage it was absolutely perfect for us and will definitely going back! We did have a problem with the hot water when we first arrived but the agent was easy to contact and had the problem fixed ASAP, he was really helpful and friendly. The stairs are open without a bannister on one side but my 21month old boy could manage them no problem, i think there are only 8 steps in total! If you want a real cottage this is it. There were many thoughtful extras at the property, such as a bottle of wine and pack of biscuits on arrival, current magazines and fresh flowers, there is also a selection of board games and some fiction and local interest books. The home books is excellent, and should be read as soon as you arrive to maximise your holiday experience! June 2011.
  6. Cottage was very pretty and so was the front garden but the rear garden could be nicer for sitting out in (few more shrubs or plants). June 2011.
  7. It is obvious that a pride is taken in the cleanliness of the cottage and the little added extras, like flowers on arrival, are a lovely welcome. If you have a car the location of the property is excellent as you can get onto the A road that enables you to explore. We tried to book for our next holiday but unfortunately for us the property was already booked!! April 2011.
  8. Great local pub, very friendly. Kennal vale FANTASTIC. April 2011.
  9. Very well provisioned. Sweet cottage with everything required. Easily accommodated 2 adults and 2 younger children. Dec 2010.
  10. Fabulous cosy cottage, typical chocolate box cottage. Dec 2010.
  11. Very quaint thatched cottage in a lovely area. Nov 2010.
  12. Nice location. Well equipped. Aug 2010.
  13. Nice cottage but could be better. July 2010.
  14. Beautiful cottage in an excellent position for people with dogs/or walkers, as the magical Kennall Vale is within 30 yards of cottage. It is also well placed for easy access to dog friendly beaches. July 2010.
  15. Clean and tidy. June 2010.
  16. The size was a bit of a shock when we first arrived. We had anticipated the cottage as being a little bigger from the virtual tour. On our return, we looked again and the `tour’ was quite accurate. The open staircase could be a hazard. However, apart from a few light bulbs being out and no replacements, the property was clean, tidy and comfortable. May 2010.
  17. The cottage was smallish but very cosy. We loved it and would definitely recommend it. March 2010.
  18. Exactly as described on website. Cosy, comfortable, clean, well stocked accommodation in lovely rural setting. Would love to return in near future. Feb 2010.
  19. We found Park Cottage very comfortable and cosy. We hope to visit again in the near future. Very well presented. Oct 2009.
  20. Quaint cottage in a great location for exploring Cornwall. July 2009.
