  1. a lovely place - nice pub not far away. Monmouth a nice town to visit. June 2012.
  2. We had a lovely stay ay ’Horseshoes’ the property was great, with all the amenities we could have asked for. We were greeted by the owner who kindly ran through everything we needed. The main house was lovely, we had the run of the extensive grounds with the boating lake and garden. The children had a wonderful time. It is also a great area for visiting with children, with so many castles and the amenities of the Forest of Dean so close. Definitely one to recommend. Feb 2012.
  3. Lovely property and very caring owners. Jan 2012.
  4. Superb location, cottage part of what seemed like a stately home with extensive grounds. This was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in over many years. Sept 2011.
  5. Very clean - lots of character. Feb 2011.
  6. Lovely accommodation. Everything said quality - the lined curtains, the fact that the kitchen equipment was comprehensive and worked well. And the knives were sharp. (That’s the way to check whether holiday house owners really care.) Astonishing number of lavatories... Great area, esp if you like marcher castles. Helpful owners. Nov 2010.
  7. Really lovely setting and good standard of accommodation. Oct 2010.
  8. Everything about the property was perfect for our requirements but we particularly appreciated the secure back yard for our 2 dogs. It is most unusual to find secure areas even in dog-friendly properties. It was more relaxing to have this facility and could be provided more often quite easily. Oct 2010.
  9. High quality cottage in beautiful surroundings. Host very helpful and kind. Lots of space. All fittings and fixtures eg in kitchen and bathrooms good quality. A lovely relaxing place, no complaints at all. Oct 2010.
  10. Extremely well equipped, warm & comfortable. Good central location. Sept 2010.
  11. This was a lovely spot. Quiet and beautiful yet well located for places like Cardiff and the mountains. I’d like to go back another time to explore the surrounding countryside and villages more. Aug 2010.
  12. Excellent accommodation. Really well equipped kitchen with quality cookware. Loads of bathrooms - no queueing! Aug 2010.
  13. The property had been converted to a very high standard and was excellently equipped, particularly the kitchen. Dingestow Court is a lovely estate and it was great to be able to take a boat out on the lake and walk in the surrounding area. May 2010.
  14. This is an excellent stable conversion to the very highest standard and it’s location in the grounds of the Digestow Court Estate is absolutely magnificent. May 2010.
  15. The cottage contained all you need for a lovely break, it was smart, contempory and clean. March 2010.
  16. Clean, well equipped, well thought out. Nov 2009.
