The picturesque village of Abbots Morton is one of Worcestershire’s oldest; this Grade II, detached, thatched holiday cottage adds to its charm. Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Malvern, Warwick and the Cotswolds are an easy drive; Ragley Hall is 3 miles offering a events and exhibitions. Cheltenham Racecourse is nearby - during Race Week the owner can arrange a chauffeur and supplies a welcome tray and breakfast hamper. Walks, golf, fishing and riding locally. Shop 2 miles, pubs 1½ miles.

  12. Corner Thatch is a very pretty character cottage set in a quiet hamlet of similar properties. The natives are very friendly - you can even "borrow" Max the dog who lives opposite for walks! The location is ideal for the Cotswolds, Malvern, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, and the local hostelries provide good food at sensible prices. We were struck by the friendliness of everyone we met. Aug 2009.
